The fifth Green Goblin was originally created by Norman Osborn and Dr. Mueller Angst to become somewhat of a decoy to play the part of the Green Goblin in public while Norman Osborn can be free from the public knowing his alter ego...#5 went on to kidnap Normy Osborn, Norman's Grandson to further dispel any rumors that he may be the Goblin in the public's eyes...#5 then went on to battle the Hobgoblin in the Goblins Gate that ran in Spectacular Spider-Man #259-261...His next appearance was also his last as he decomposed after a long battle with Spider-Man.
