Electro's History

Electro was destined to be a great Spider-Villain!...That great costume and great powers made him quite unique. he quickly made it out of the Spider-Verse when he had his first meeting with Daredevil, when DD wore those wacky Red & Yellow duds!...Considering this was DD's second appearance, Electro seemed a strange villain for him...Teams up for the 1st time with Doc Ock, Vulture, Mysterio, Sandman & Kraven to form the Sinister Six in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1...But even their combined forces wasn't enough for Spidey!

Electro made an unwelcome appearance to Mr. Fantastic & the Invisible Girl's wedding...Then joined another team consisting of the Matador, Stilt-Man, Leap-Frog & the Gladiator in the debut of the Emissaries of Evil in the pages of Daredevil Annual #1...He was eventually hired by J. Jonah Jameson to try to kill Spider-Man...Electro began to face even more in Daredevil, the Defenders, & even Omega the Unknown in a very strange appearance!

Electro teamed with Blizzard to fight Spidey & Daredevil in Marvel Team-Up #56 in a memorable issue...He was soon becoming somewhat of a lame, over-used character rather than a nemesis to Spider-Man...He joined yet another team in the Frightful Four fighting alongside Sandman, Trapster, and their leader the Wizard...The Fantastic Four had to team-up with Spidey in order to defeat this group in Fantastic Four #218. Electro also had a couple of run-ins with Captain America most notably in Amazing Spider-Man #187.

He went on to cause further pain to Spidey as he even teamed up and fought with other Spider-Man villains such as Hammerhead, the Chameleon, and the Shocker...He was eventually "Re-Charged" with a more powerful electric ability in Amazing Spider-Man #422-425, but again was defeated by Spider-Man & X-Man...Recently he has been "Re-created" with a new hideous costume in the pages of Chapter One #6 and seen in it again when he was part of a new Sinister Six in Amazing Spider-Man V2 #12 & 17 & Spider-Man V2 #12 & 17
