Origin: Doppleganger was created along with many other Dopplegangers of heroes in the Marvel Universe such as Wolverine, Iron Man, and others...They were created by the Magus, a great foe of Warlock, who was a great participant in the Infinity War and represent the evil side of earth's heroes...They were all destroyed with the Magus' defeat...Except one!. |

After the Dopplegangers were destroyed in the Infinity War limited Series, Spider-Man rudely learned that not ALL the Doppleganger's were destroyed!...The Spider-Man Doppleganger with help from the Demogoblin survived and went on to cause a lot of havoc for Spider-Man. |

Not only was the Spider-Man Doppleganger much trouble to his good counterpart, but the "Evil Twin" was a thorn in the side to Ghost Rider, Moonknight, and Johnny Blaze (The original Ghost Rider)...This story played out in Web Of Spider-Man #93-96 as well as Spirits Of Vengeance #5. He was later "killed" by Carnage while trying to save Shriek in the Maximum Carnage storyline. |
