The Thing & Spider-Man

Spidey and the Thing have been a great combination over the years since they met way back in Amazing Spider-Man #1...They compliment each other greatly with both their sense of humor and their combined power against various foes...Here they are teamed up against the Mad Thinker in Marvel Team-Up #6...They are such popular characters that they both were featured in their very own Team-Up books: Marvel Team-Up for Spidey and Marvel Two-In-One for the Thing...MTIO lasted for 100 issues and was very similar to MTU.

Marvel Two-In-One #17 featured Spidey and the Thing against the Basilisk in a story that was concluded in Marvel Team-Up #47...One of Marvel's earliest cross-overs spanning the two popular Team-Up titles...The Thing and Spider-Man have met so many times in a number of titles, mostly Spidey's titles and Fantastic Four, but they have met in many other tiltes such as Secret Wars and other limited series...A classic story involving these two was MTIO Annual #2 which featured the "death" of Thanos.

Marvel Two-In-One ended with issue #100 but The Thing very quickly began appearing in his very own non-team-up title & It lasted 36 issues...The Thing can be seen in Fantastic Four and his usual guest appearances around the Marvel Universe which he makes quite often...Spidey and the Thing are bound to bump into each other again very soon as it's very hard to keep these great characters away from each other...They definitely make one of the most entertaining combo's in the Marvel Universe when they are together!
