Major Enemies: Zorr, Diamondhead, Condor, Powerhouse, Nebula, Sphinx, Sandman, Yellow Claw, Blackout. Powers: Super-Human Strength, Endurance and Speed...Immune to bullets and other hard objects against his skin...Also able to fly quicker than the speed of Sound. Origin: The result of a dying Nova Prime, a Centurion in the Nova Corps of the Planet Xandar, Richard was struck at random by a beam of energy so that an earthling can carry on the space militants cause. |

| Nova V1 #12 was the 1st meeting between these two heroes...A Spider-Man robot appeared in Nova V1 #15, but it wasn't the real thing!...Nova even fought the Sandman in issues #13 & 14!...The story began in Nova #12 was continued in Amazing Spider-Man #171 against a new villain Photon at a time when cross-over's were extremely rare...Nova also appeared with Spider-Man in Friends & Enemies limited series as well as playing a part in the Round Robin: The Sidekick's Revenge storyline in Amazing Spider-Man #354-358. |

Nova started the New Warriors along with a number of other younger heroes in a long run that lasted 75 issues and another small run in a second volume...Nova's 1st series went 24 issues but he eventually began a 2nd volume that lasted 18 issues...Just recently a 3rd Volume was started up but unfortunately did not last as long as either of the previous two volumes...None the less, Nova still makes his presence known in the Marvel Universe. |
