Origin: While Robert Plunder was searching and finding an undiscovered Anti-Metal he believed existed, he accidentally discovered an area of Antarctica called the Savage Land where Dinosaurs roamed...After agents found out about his discovery, Robert took Kevin and sought refuge back in the Savage Land where Robert was killed by natives who took Kevin...Kevin soon escaped as he met a Sabretooth with which he formed a life lasting bond with named Zabu...He then grew to manhood in the Savage Lands being referred to as Ka-Zar, "Son of the Tiger"! |

Spidey met up with Ka-Zar pretty early in his career in Amazing Spider-Man #57 where they had it out in the streets of New York City...They didn't meet up next until Amazing #103 & 104 where they fought both Kraven the Hunter and the new villain Gog...In fact Spider-Man and Ka-Zar has shared a couple villains most notably Kraven and also the Rhino...Ka-Zar went on the appear in his own series numerous times. |

More recently, Spider-Man appeared in a long running storyline in Ka-Zar V3 #21-26 as well as the first two issues of the Marvel Anthology title Marvel Fanfare...Most recently, Spidey received help from both Ka-Zar and The Hulk in Sensational Spider-Man #13-15 against the threat of Stegron who Ka-Zar first helped Spidey back in the pages of Marvel Team-Up #19. |
