11/61 Fantastic Four #1 1st Appearance and Origin of The Human Torch & The Fantastic Four. |
| A somewhat rare very early meeting between Spidey and the Torch was in Strange Tales Annual #2...It was a title The Torch appeared in in issues #101 through #134 sometimes with Fantastic Four co-member The Thing...The Human Torch was VERY popular in The Amazing Spider-Man title having appeared 4 times in the early issues & appeared in #21 which featured Spidey's 1st battle with The Beetle! |  |

Against The Lizard in Amazing Spider-Man #77 in The Human Torch's already 5th appearance in that title!...It wasn't until #130 that they would see each other in that title again...The Torch has shared the "Top Billing" with Spider-Man in an 18 issue run on Marvel Team-Up having 6 Team-Ups of his very own the first being with The Incredible Hulk in issue #18...Not bad for someone who teamed-Up with Spidey 4 times in the titles first 10 issues! |
| These 2 heroes fought together and against each other so many times that Daredevil is the only other hero that can compare with the Torch for teaming-up with Spidey in their careers...Even to this day, Spider-Man and The Human Torch are such a "natural" being paired together that they will always appeal to readers and fans everywhere...They most recently appeared together in Spider-Man V2 #21 together. |  |
