Origin: While investigating the Osborn Warehouse with his Uncle Ben, Phil surprisingly found the Green Goblin II (Harry Osborn) secret room which contained much Goblin paraphernalia...He used these newly found powers to fight off some hoodlums that attacked his Uncle and him and the rest is history...Well, for 13 issues that is!

The New Green Goblin flies again very quickly with his second appearance in Web Of Spider-Man #125 after his introduction in Spectacular Spider-Man #225...The New Goblin teams up with the Scarlet Spider against Joystick in Amazing Scarlet Spider #2 and eventually Phil lost his powers and ceased being the Green Goblin...Good thing too because the original Green Goblin came back after years and he wasn't happy!
